Excerpt from Mr Rosser from the 1976 Kristin Newsletter: “The experience of living together for three days proved to be a stimulating
exercise for the class, and I know that I have learnt a considerable amount about the social development of many of the children. I was able to see them behave in circumstances quite different from those normally experienced at school, and no doubt I was also observed in the same light. The majority proved to be willing, helpful and considerate towards others. A few showed a lack of maturity for their age and were slow to accept responsibilities that go with living in a group
situation. Overall though I was very pleased with the group, and I consider the exercise was a great success.”
