DescriptionKristin's award-winning music studio.

In May 2024, Kristin's new music studio building, Punawai, was officially opened. This purpose-built facility provides students with professional-grade and acoustically-designed spaces.

The name comes from the Māori words Puna, meaning ‘spring’ and ‘wai’, referring to the flowing of music from performer to listener.

In 2025, Punawai was awarded the Silver Award at the New Zealand Commercial Projects Awards and the Gold Award at the Designers Institute of New Zealand Best Design Awards.
