Approximately 30 parents suggested a motto, but the final decision took place in Stan and Joy Jober's living room. Barry Stevens remembers his wife Bernice starting the discussion with the suggestion: "Progress with vision". Others felt it needed expanding, so a range of supplementary words were debated before settling on the addition of 'integrity' and 'love'.
