Kristin Auditorium - First Assembly (1990)

DescriptionThough not officially opened until 1991 by then-Prime Minister James Bolger, Kristin's auditorium was in use by the end of 1990.
On the 19th October, 1990, the auditorium held its first assembly led by Principal Claudia Wysocki. This 'cultural assembly' included special guest Miss Rae de Lisle, a Kristin parent and concert pianist, who performed on the school's brand new grand piano.
Kristin's auditorium complex has grown to house not only the school’s auditorium, but also the Dove Memorial Theatre, Visual Arts Centre, Performing Arts Department, Music Department and Sports Pavilion. A project originally promoted by Claudia Wysocki – one of Kristin’s longest-serving Principals – the auditorium complex quickly became the cultural centre of the school.
