DescriptionOfficially opened in 1991 by Prime Minister James Bolger, Kristin’s Auditorium Complex serves as the school's cultural heart, playing a significant role in developing young talent and supporting Kristin’s reputation for excellence in the performing arts.
Originally championed by former Principal Claudia Wysocki, the complex houses a 1,000+ seat main auditorium, the Dove Memorial Theatre, the Visual Arts Centre, the Performing Arts and Music departments, and a Sports Pavilion.
Built on founding Principal Roy Munn’s vision of including art, music, and drama into the core curriculum, the complex plays a vital role in developing young talent. The main auditorium hosts assemblies, lectures, concerts, and three major annual productions, while the Dove Memorial Theatre – opened in 2005 in memory of founding parent Bernice Stevens – provides a more intimate space for both curriculum and co-curricular performing arts. Beyond arts education, the complex serves as Kristin’s primary gathering space, uniting students, staff, families, and the wider community. Geolocation[1]
