Alternative NameLICDescriptionOfficially opened in 2004, by Governor-General Dame Sylvia Cartwright, Kristin’s award-winning Library Information Centre (LIC) is a multi-purpose complex offering state-of-the-art library resources and support in a modern, welcoming environment.
Situated at the end of the Kauri Walkway, the LIC serves as Kristin's learning centre, providing essential school facilities such as Kristin's extensive Library, Senior Study Centre, Senior Administration Office, meeting spaces, a public gallery and the Canon Creative Studio.
At the heart of the complex is the Library. Located on the top floor and accessed via the mezzanine walkway, it offers a welcoming space for both collaborative learning and quiet study, supporting students and staff alike.
Opposite the library sits the the Canon Creative Studio, established in 2014 to support Kristin's commitment to innovative digital learning. As the central hub for media production and digital creation, it empowers students across all year levels to explore new technologies and bring their ideas to life.
Combining architectural design with functionality, the LIC is a central venue for school activities, supporting learning, research and creativity across the Kristin community.
